The onset of the Covid-19 pandemic has made life challenging for many. It’s hit exceptionally hard for one of our team members at Buffalo Trace Distillery. Doug Ross, who works in Legends Bottling, is suffering from Covid-19 and is gravely ill. His condition has progressed quickly. He tested positive on August 14 and was hospitalized less than a week after. On August 20th, he was admitted to ICU and his condition has continued to deteriorate. His wife and 5 children are unable to see or talk to him at this time.

Doug is the sole bread winner and the loss of full wages in addition to mounting medical expenses is putting a significant strain on his family. Doug’s team members have already started to pull together support for him. His fellow team members have also started a GoFundMe page to help Doug and his family financially.

Buffalo Trace will match up to $5,000 of funds raised in the Doug Ross GoFundMe fundraiser beginning now through September 30, 2021.

If you are unable to contribute financially, we are sure that Doug and his family would appreciate us keeping them in our thoughts and prayers.

I'd just like to thank everyone for your help.
