Doug Neely Family Cancer Treatment

Donation protected
Doug Neely, age 56, was diagnosed with duodenal cancer in 2016.  After surgery he was cancer free until April 2020.  The cancer came back.  In June 2020 he had the lower right lobe of his lungs removed along with lymph nodes.  In March 2021, the cancer returned again.  Doug is traveling to the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Newnan, Georgia every other week for chemotherapy.   Doug has worked in the health care field for the last 25 years.   Doug’s wife has had to reduce her work to support him in his medical and physical needs.  This family needs our help and support.   The Danville (Ohio) Lions Club is raising these funds to donate to this family via this GoFundMe Page and additionally it will be donating net proceeds to this family from their annual 2021 Danville Lions Club Raccoon meal.  It will be held Monday, May 3rd at the St. Luke's Community Center, located immediately behind the Danville St. Luke’s Catholic Church.  Serving will start at 4:30 p.m. and continue until gone on a first come, first serve basis (300 meals will be prepared).  This will be a carryout meal including Raccoon, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Dressing, Green Beans, and Cookie.  For those who travel from far away, limited seating is available about 2 blocks away at the Knights of Columbus building.  Meal pickup at St. Luke’s Center.
