Doug Means Cremation & Memorial Fund

Our family recently suffered the loss of our loved one, Doug Means, to Covid-19 after a hard fought five week battle in the hospital. He had been on a ventilator for the last three weeks of his life. Unfortunately, we lost him on December 9, 2021.

 

Doug was a caring person that would go out of his way to help others. He was one to always have a good time! You could often find him at his local demolition derby either watching or competing himself. He was a huge music lover, fisherman, Mr. Fix-It, and had a huge passion for gardening and could get anything to grow!

 

As you can imagine, there are a lot of expenses that Doug's family is now responsible for after his passing. His wishes are to be cremated, and to have a Celebration of Life at a later date. We are fundraising to help ease the financial burden that has been placed on his family as he did not have any life insurance.

 

Doug leaves behind 5 children - Allie, Joby, Jacob, and two young children still at home, Jagger and Annika. He also leaves behind his fiance Kathy. Doug loved all of his family and friends and we know that he would be grateful for any and all help his family may receive.

 

All donations will be used directly to cover cremation/memorial expenses and any remaining funds will be going directly to Kathy and his young children.
