Doug Grean Studio Relocation Fund

I find myself in an unavoidable situation. I need to relocate my studio by Jan 1st. My business is down %40 in the last two years and I'm barely able to keep the doors open, and I can not afford to relocate yet I must. Or leave the studio business. I love my job, I'm not a producer anymore. I'm just a guy that likes to make art and help others realize their creative dreams. I don't produce I partner with musicians to get their songs recorded. I play on peoples recordings - I let people use all my instruments- I play live for people  - and I do not charge extra - no hidden fees, no bullshit.
I have not raised my rates in 15 years - I don't raise them because I try my best to make it affordable for self funded artists to work with me. 
Nothings makes me happier then when an artists leaves here super happy about the song they made. I love that. It is the best feeling in the world. 

I'm sadden to find myself launching this fund raiser. But I can't afford not to do it. 
The clock is ticking and I'm running out of time.

I have and am selling many of my instruments -  a lot of microphones and guitars I never wanted to sell. I am selling everything that I don't need to record music. But if I keep selling I will get to a place where I can't do my job anymore. There are certain tools I can't sell.

and my gratitude forever - The music biz is in the crapper - I accept this reality. But I'd like to keep going and helping others. 

I realize this is selfish. But this is the reality of being an artist in America.
