Help and Support to Doug Ekey’s Family

Doug Ekey, a beloved neighbor, coach and friend, passed away on September 4th. He left in peace and was survived by his lovely wife Amy and his young son Aaron. This was such a quick and a stunning tragedy that ran its full course in a matter of days. It is unimaginable how much Amy and Aaron have to face and deal with, both emotionally and physically in the past few days.

Doug was such a great citizen in our community. He served our country in Navy in his younger years. Then, he had been working for a local company, Lam Research, in Fremont throughout his career. In addition, he had been serving on the board in HOA and Warmsprings Little League (WSLL) for over a decade. He touched and mentored so many young baseball players. Many of them were inspired and continued pursuing baseball in high school and beyond. Every step in his journey, he had been a leader and contributor who left his marks on our hearts.

In such a tough time for the family that Doug left behind, we are starting this fundraising effort to help cover of cost of the funeral and provide some much needed support to the family. Please offer your generous help.
