Douglas Lyman Olson Beshore 1949-2025.

On the weekend of September 5th, heaven gained another Angel as our dad departed our physical world. One day he was visiting with friends and "testing the ice" with his standard screwdriver, and the next, he sadly suffered complications from esophageal surgery preformed a week prior.

Doug was always so generous with friends, family, and strangers alike. He always had a big heart, an ear to lend, and a dollar to give, even if it was his last one. He touched so many people's lives and went above and beyond to help those in need over the 76 years that he lived. He will not only be missed by his family and friends, but an entire community.

If you feel inclined to give back to Doug, or pay it forward as he did so often, we would very much appreciate help with his medical bills and funeral expenses.

We would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, notes, and hugs during this difficult time. Your kindness doesn't go unnoticed.

A memorial will be held for Doug at Bittersweet Bistro on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 1pm-4pm.
