Doug and Theresa

On September 7, 2020 my brother Doug and his wife Theresa were in a horrific motor cycle accident. I won't get into the details of the accident except to say that it was caused by an out of state driver on a cell phone who took off and left the scene.
Doug and Theresa both sustained severe injuries. Doug's right leg was crushed from the knee down. Theresa's right foot was severed leaving it just hanging by skin.
Doug and Theresa were both air lifted to Atlantic City Medical Center's Trauma Center in Atlantic City where they both went through several surgeries. The surgeries were successful but they still have a long way to go.
They are both home now. Doug spent 1 month in the hospital and Theresa spent 1 month in the hospital and 1 month in rehab. They both have hospital equipment set up in their living room and have had home health aides and physical therapy. Doug will be going for another round of physical therapy in the middle of December for weight bearing as he still can not put any kind of pressure on the leg. He will also need another surgery down the road to replace his knee due to pieces of bone missing.
With that said, Doug and Theresa will not be able to go back to work for some time. They do not have any income coming in and have incurred bills that insurance will not pay along with daily living expenses.
With that said, anything that you can contribute in their time of need, no matter how small will be greatly appreciated.
