Hello....and my appreciation to you all for allowing me to pop into your newsfeeds today! I am making an appeal in this season of gratitude and goodness, to help ease the financial burdens of my dear cousin and his wife, Doug and Michelle Kaus.

On November 6, 2025, Michelle survived a terrible car accident. The crash left her with 3 broken bones in her right foot and 2 in her left arm. After the initial hospital stay, Michelle continued weeks of physical and occupational therapy. She is working hard to improve and cherishes your prayers in this process.

On the heels of all of this, life threw another curveball, and Doug was recently let go from his place of work. Doug suffers from severe migraines, which greatly impacts his ability to function at full capacity much of the time. This has resulted in not only the untimely loss of an income, but also the subsequent loss of health insurance.

Anyone who has known Doug and Michelle in any capacity, know that they are always the first in line to offer a kind word, encouragement, assistance, or prayer. If needed, they would give the very clothes off their backs. They have taken to heart about being the hands and feet of the Lord whenever the opportunity presents itself. It's time for us to lift them up, now, in this difficult time.
