Doug and I could really use your help with surgery

Hi all. Recently it was discovered that Doug has a tumorous mass in his spleen, and requires a splenectomy. We'll be required to put down over $400 to do the surgery, but total cost is just shy of $3000, and we could use a little assistance. One organization has contributed $500, another organization said they may be able to help but haven't said for sure (yet), and I'm working on and waiting on a couple other organizations

If Doug doesn't have the surgery, there's no telling how long he has to live. However, if the surgery is successful it can add many more years to his life, and I would like to give life a shot

Both Doug and I would greatly appreciate it. His current condition is not great, as he seems incredibly tired all the time and has been losing a lot of weight, but doesn't seem to be in any immediate pain. The surgery is set to take place on the 24th of August, so almost a week away
