For those of you who don’t know, on December 7th, Doug, the family patriarch, was involved in a traumatic accident. He had to undergo surgery and will have a very lengthy recovery and will require extensive therapy. His recovery is expected to take 6 months to a year, if not longer. During this time he will be out of work. Though he is on the road to recovery, the path is long and his loving family is having to make many sacrifices. Heather is a caring, compassionate and devoted nurse, wife and mother that is doing all she can to take care of her husband and their 2 young children to get them through this hard time. She has had to miss some time at work in order to be with Doug at the hospital and to get him back home and to appointments as well as taking care of the children. Doug is a Veteran of the U.S. Army who selflessly gave of himself to protect our country including a deployment in Afghanistan. If any family is deserving of a little help in a hard time, it is this family. Any help, big or small will be greatly appreciated. ❤️
