Hi!
We're the Herriges family. Our family needs your help for our son....
Ryan is 28 years old, single, caring, Minnesota small-town young man.
Ryan's health was excellent until last spring. First, he suffered with Lyme disease. Every afternoon for 3 weeks, he would get high fevers and pain in his knees. His doctor finally diagnosed him with Lyme disease. The meds helped the fevers, but not the pain in his knees. He could work only a few hours a day.
During this time, he started becoming out of breath easily. It progressively became worse. No more working...it was just too difficult. Ryan's oxygen need increased.
Six months total till Ryan received a double lung transplant. Prayers from relatives to strangers-we know-saved our son's life.
Ryan's outlook on his life has now astonished both his family and doctors.
He still has a long road ahead....
He is anxious to return to his job at Lowe's. Furthermore, he cannot wait to go back to his beloved home and two cats-Finka and Bynx.
Ryan's new lungs cannot breathe in cat litter. He needs an automatic litter cleaner.
Ryan will also need help with his mortgage and utilities until he can be strong enough to return to work. He is still in danger for the rest of his life from organ rejection and everything else that could happen in his condition.
Ryan simply wants to live...
