This Giving Tuesday, your gift goes straight to the heart of our work. Support the trail stewardship efforts that keeps Montana’s trails open and wild.
Every dollar keeps our crews safe, equipped, and ready to tackle tough work in Montana’s wildest places.
And today, your gift is matched up to $15,000 by the Cinnabar Foundation.
Here’s what your support makes possible:
- $50 – New water filter for our crews — water is life!
- $75 – Purchases a new blade for a Silky saw. These saws fold into the handle and are easily stored in a backpack for long hikes to a work site.
- $120 – Purchases a new Pulaski. The Pulaski combines an ax and a grub hoe into one multipurpose tool and is a hallmark of trail work.
- $150 – Purchases supplies to restock three first aid kits. Safety first!
- $250 – Covers the average fuel costs to get us to a project. This includes hauling the gear, tools, and water in the truck. We have projects all over the state, from the Cabinet Mountains to the Terry Badlands!
- $400 – Purchases supplies to build a proper workbench for our tool cache, where we maintain our tools and equipment.
- $500 – The cost to feed a weekend VTC crew — Oreos included!
- $600 – The cost to rehandle/maintain tools and gear over a season.
- $800 – Covers the cost of our exceptional volunteer packers to drive them and their stock to the trailheads, pack us in, and get them back home safely.
- $1000 – The cost to feed a backcountry VTC crew for a week-long project (including enough Oreos for motivation!)
Thank you for your support in keeping Montana's trails open for everyone.
