My name is Griffin Sadovsky, father to four kids currently attending Sacred Heart. My wife, Lauren, and I have a family friend who wishes to help support our school, especially our kids’ teachers, anonymously. Last year, they wanted to offer a matching contribution for teachers for Christmas time, but we were unable to get the word out in time. That being said, last year, $3000 was shared among all teachers and some staff that amounted to about $250 per individual. That $250 was untaxed and paid directly to the teachers as a Christmas Bonus. For many, this may not seem like much, but to our teachers making very little, even compared to their peers, it makes a difference.

Our friends this year have again decided to contribute and are hoping to do so by means of a matching contribution. They will match dollar for dollar up to $3,000 for teacher and staff Christmas Bonuses. All money raised will be given directly to faculty and staff prior to Christmas break.

If you’re able and willing to, please contribute. If all we raise is $3,000, that means, with the match, each teacher would receive nearly $500! Thank you for your consideration and your generosity. Have a happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Donations will be accepted until December 12th.
