Double Your Impact for Big East Akita Rescue

Athena here. You all know how much I love to go for walks with all my peeps. Well, this year I'm putting those steps toward a great cause. I'm stepping out to fundraise for Big East Akita Rescue for their 2025 Whisker Walk!

Big East Akita Rescue (BEAR) works so hard to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome Akitas, giving them a second chance at a happy, healthy life. This year, I decided to do something a little different. Instead of having a team, I'm raising money for a “Whisker Walker Match Fund” where every donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar. That means for every $1 you contribute, Big East Akita Rescue will receive $2 to help more dogs in need. Your support can go twice as far in helping save lives, and I can’t think of a better way to make a difference.
