Help Elijah, Natalya & Family Rebuild.

Donation protected
Hello, we are the Quigg's, Janet & Dan and we are asking your help for our friends.  On the morning of Saturday, December 4th Sonny Weltman was at the home he shares with his son, Elijah Weltman Sr, daughter in law Natalya Edwards-Weltman, and young adult children. On this particular day, Sonny was home with only the family dog as Elijah and Natalya were out of town celebrating their anniversary and the kids were tending to school and work matters respectively.
Shortly after cooking a meal, a fire broke out and before he knew it, the house went up in flames. Thank God Sonny and their dog Bear made it out safely. As you can imagine, they lost items of monetary and sentimental, some of which can be replaced and some that can’t. Elijah and Natalya got back in to town that evening and went straight to house to assess damage but it was too dark so they decided to stay at their daughter’s apartment and try again in the morning. By morning, the situation had gone from bad to unimaginable. They discovered that an organized group of criminals that prey on the pain of others had burglarized the home. These vile criminals took all the valuables that were not destroyed in the fire up to and including Elijah’s work truck and equipment (Sonny and him are licensed contractors that rely on their equipment to work and their work to live.) Also stolen were televisions, video game consoles,  computers, other electronics, a 2021 Yamaha Motorcycle, road bicycles, purses, business documents, and anything else of monetary value that they could fit into their trailer. Luckily, they have insurance, yet the insurance only covered a portion of the costs needed to completely start over again. Between the fire damage and the theft, little to nothing can be salvaged.
Devastated and having to find a new home just before the holidays with their daughter coming home from college, any and everything will help as we thank you for considering them during this holiday season. While money can’t replace the trophy won at their first debate competition, photos, the birthday cards, or any other items that hold sentimental value and it can’t return all that is lost yet it can bring some warmth and comfort in a time of cold and despair.

God bless and have a happy holiday season!
