As you probably know by now, Courthouse Coffee has closed effective with the closing of Palmetto Brothers Taproom. This leaves the town of Laurens without a true coffee shop experience, and it leaves my partner Tim without stable income. It also leaves him without a place that provides him with the creative outlet that he found when he moved to Laurens and became a barista in 2018 after the sudden, tragic loss of his father. We are so grateful to Peg, Marty, and Wes for their support of Tim as a barista and later manager. We are also grateful to all the loyal customers and friends who have come in for their favorite drinks. The closing of Courthouse Coffee is sad, and yet, it gives Tim the opportunity to start something new and exciting! Of course coffee will be involved along with something else we noticed that the town might enjoy!
