We’re raising money as quickly as we can for a double mastectomy before the end of this year. Insurance will only cover part of the cost until January, so we’re on a really tight deadline. Every donation, no matter how small, gets us closer to making this happen.

This surgery is life-changing for so many reasons. Right now, they’re 5’5” with size G cup breasts, which causes daily pain and strain on their already chronically painful joints. Imagine having a bowling ball strapped to your chest 24/7. A mastectomy would finally give them physical relief after years of discomfort.

But the mental and emotional benefits are just as important. Clothes are rarely made to fit those with larger chests, which is a huge hit to self-esteem. But the heavy hitter is their gender dysphoria, which has been a constant companion for years and does nothing but fuel their depression and anxiety. This surgery would lift an enormous weight off their shoulders, literally and emotionally.
