Frank's Double Lung and Liver Transplant

Frank Glover Jr was born and raised in National Park, NJ and at 6 months old, was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis - “CF”, a rare genetic life-threatening disorder that affects primarily the lungs and digestive system.


For Frank, frequent visits to the doctor was a part of his childhood. Despite growing up in and out of hospitals, he has always been strong and a true fighter, and doesn't let his health issues stop him from doing anything he sets in his mind to do. He loves to ride motorcycles, the beach, traveling, and is passionate about sports. He is a die-hard Eagles fan, and played sports like soccer and hockey from the age of 5 through high school, until his spleen became enlarged (a CF complication), which had him sitting on the side line for a couple years. 


Now he faces the biggest fight yet in his 41-year battle. His lung function is at an all time low, infections are becoming more frequent, and his liver is badly bruised (also a CF related complication). Doctors then came to the hard, but necessary decision to place him on the transplant list for a double lung and liver transplant.


With the transplant cost not being entirely covered by insurance, and the lifelong expensive medications, doctors visits,  hospitalization co-pays, lab work, prescription co-pays, in-patient and out-patient procedures, and other necessary expenses, as well as for ongoing follow-ups for the rest of his life needed before and after the surgery, we humbly ask for your help. For those who haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Frank, he is a loving husband, a caring son, a protective brother, a funny uncle, a loyal friend and he has THE biggest heart! Despite his chronic illness and being in constant pain, he is always smiling and encouraging others. He is the most deserving person I know!
