On Christmas Day 2023 (the day before the due date of their fourth child) the Doty Family learned that their baby's heart had stopped. Their baby boy Caspian had an extremely long umbilical cord (44"+) with two true tight knots blocking the flow of oxygen and nutrients to the baby. Baby Caspian is survived by his parents Sarah and Tyler and his three siblings. Although Caspian is not able to be with his family now, Sarah, Tyler, and their three children look forward to when they can be together as an eternal family.
