We are planning a trip to the New
Holland Horse Auction to save a horse from slaughter on February 13th. We will be going down in memory of our beloved horses Teddy and Dottie, both of whom were born in February and have sadly passed away. Dottie's birthday was on February 13th and it always made for a big celebration around the farm. Teddy was rescued from slaughter in on February 17th (2009) so this became his official birthday. We want to honor and celebrate their lives by saving another life. Any of our farm friends are welcome to join us on our trip. Funds will be used to pull a horse from the horse slaughter pipeline and for the initial costs involved in getting him/her back to health.
