On April 1st, 2020, our family was directly impacted by the pandemic that we all are experiencing. My grandmother, Dorothy Reed-Jackman, lost her husband and our beloved family member, Kentworth Jackman, to Covid-19 complications. His passing was abrupt and quickly escalated from what we collectively believed to be pneumonia. Kent will be dearly missed and I will forever hear his voice in my head telling me to, “Stay safe, Kiddo”.

It is our goal that with the money raised here, we can help my grandmother Dorothy with some of her immediate financial costs related to housing, grocery and utilities. From there, any additional funds will go towards future housing costs as we look for a more suitable home for her.
