Hi friends and family I'm here asking for everyone's help and support for my wonderful grandmother Dorothy Himes, who has unfortunately fallen very ill. These past few months has been very hard on my family. Unfortunately in December we lost a great man my grandfather. And now my grandmother is not doing so well herself. My grandparents have always had their door open to everyone in need. My grandparents have always been the backbone to our family. My grandmother had a stroke a few years back and unfortunately her health has decreased slowly . She is 91 years old and has Alzheimer's and dementia but she still was able to get up and move around she loved to go outside and sit on her swing and just enjoy the outside. Unfortunately 2 weeks ago I brought her into the ER because she was showing signs of a stroke. Come to find out she was experiencing a UTI And when her results came back she had ecoli in her infection, so they kept her for a few days to give her antibiotics and monitor her. She seemed to be getting better and I thought she would be able to come home, but that wasn't the plan. Unfortunately her insides are not doing well and her organs are slowly shutting down. Im a single mother of 2girls and unfortunately i have been out of work since my grandfathers passing, due to stay home and take care of my grandma full time because she needs care 24/7. Im asking for any kind of help towards my grandma so we can give her a proper burial. I would like to thank you all.
