As the new junior captains at Stourport Boat Club, we believe it is important to have a unified section of athletes who support one another, and can collaborate to achieve immense goals. This is why we have decided to host an ‘ergathon’ fundraiser in February, with the aim of buying equipment and resources that will benefit and develop our junior section.

As 2024 is an Olympic year, our fundraiser will revolve around collectively erging the distance between the London 2012 rowing venue and next year’s Paris location. The distance between Dorney Lake to Lac de Vaires-sur-Marne is 374km, which we believe will be a considerable challenge.
