I have known Doris for most of my life, over 30 years . She is better known to me and my family as Mia, a name that my 19 year olds gave her.  She has been a constant presence in not only my life, but my children as well.

Mia is one of the most caring, loving, people I know. She has been working with kids her whole life and has touched many lives. Doris, has spent the last 30+ years working at Los Feliz Elementary aka Los Feliz STEMM magnet. Ms. Arcelles as the students would call her, dedicated herself to all the students and staff and made a difference daily in their lives! Her smile can brighten your day and make everything a little bit better. Her spirit and energy is the kind that lights up a room. She has a daughter Jessica and a beautiful granddaughter Savannah.

Sadly, she has suffered a stroke and has been in the hospital since last Thursday. Her road to recovery is going to be a long one. I am asking for donations to help her and her family through this difficult time.  Anything you can spare will help and be greatly appreciated. Please  share this post.
