Dorian Bentch and his mom Elanor

Hi, my name is Felicia and I am wanting to raise money for my step son Dorian and his mom Elanor. Dorian has been sick for a few years, he is a type 1 diabetic and about 8 years ago he got c diff and the infection came back about 6 times which caused him to lose an extreme amount of weight. The last 3 years he has steadily declined, the doctors haven’t been able to diagnose him. At this time he has been in the hospital since September. He was at Barnes Jewish in St. Louis for about 6 weeks, from there he went to Boone inpatient rehab, he got sick and they discharged him home. After about a week at home he was taken to Moberly Regional where he was diagnosed with Pneumonia, they sent him home and over the next week he continued to get sicker until he was taken back to Moberly and then urgently transferred to MU where he has been for over 2 months. He has been intubated 3 times since being there and has had dialysis off and on along with a couple of seizures. This has been emotionally and financially hard on our family, I am asking for donations to help with food and gas for travel and also to prepare for Dorian’s return home, whenever that may be. He will need a special type of mattress and bed frame along with a wheelchair ramp and many other things. Anything will help including prayers I appreciate you reading Dorian’s story. ❤️
