Hello, my name is Holly and this is my girl, Dori. She has recently been attacked by another cat and she has needed surgery and urgent care since. It happened about 3 weeks ago. I have nearly lost her nearly 3 times throughout all of this and now I am sadly out of money. Her wound developed into a very deep abscess and without another surgery, she is a ticking time bomb as the abscess has now started to develop again.

I lost my job, which meant my insurance got cancelled. Loved ones have helped me so far and I’m so grateful. But we have run out of money now. So far, Dori’s vet bills have come to £4K and the next surgery comes to nearly £2k and I’m desperate for help to save my little friend.

I was on jobseekers but managed to get a new job as a carer. Although it’s part time, the hours come in just over the job seekers allowance for a working week, so trying to seek help from PDSA and other charities has been very hard for me.

My girl is my best friend. I haven’t stop crying and I really really would appreciate any help. I love her so much. Please if anyone can help us I would be forever thankful.
