Helping Dor with his cancer battle

UPDATE:

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated!! I just wanted to give everyone an update about Dor’s condition. Dor does have stage 4 rectal cancer that has metastasized into his liver. While this is completely shocking and unbelievable diagnosis Dor has a great oncology team helping his family in their fight. Dor will start chemotherapy treatments next week at Sinai and after around 2 months he will go over to Memorial Sloan Kittering Cancer Center in NY where they will do the surgery to resect the tumors from the rectum and liver and insert a hepatic artery infusion pump directly into his abdomen which will give him chemo directly into his liver to either shrink any remaining cancer that they couldn’t get to with surgery or make sure nothing comes back. This aggressive treatment has shown to be very successful so we are very hopeful!

Hello All-

I'm Dor's neighbor and friend. As you may have heard, he has recently been diagnosed with cancer. Right now, they are still processing this awful news. One way we could really support them, is to get a fund started to help his parents come visit him. As his parents are in Israel, it is an expensive and long trip. Lets pull together as a community and sponsor this trip, so that his parents can be here when he needs their support the most.
