Rest In Peace Doreen and Kimmie Pate

My name is Nancy Morrish. A little background- Kimmie has been my best friend for about 26 years.  We have traveled together, went to movies (last one being the latest Downton Abbey) shared families, and for the past several years, kimmie was at my house for dinner most nights and we would watch our favorite shows together.  We enjoyed Praise and Worshipping our Lord and God through music and studying His Word.  Kimmie backed me up in life.  If I had a hard day, she'd help with dinner either by making it or buying it.  We shared everything.  She absolutely loved my girls and they called her Aunt Kimmie.  I really miss my daily talks and time together!  

  

It is very hard right now after suffering the losses of our dear Doreen and daughter Kimmie passing away so close together. Doreen suffered a stroke in early June, and after putting up a fight, she went to be with our Lord on July 15th at 1:30 am. Kimmie suddenly suffered a heart attack in her home that she could not be resuscitated from, and on July 8th at 5:30 pm, she went to be with our Lord. Both Doreen and Kimmie are being cremated. 

The family plans to have a Celebration of both of their lives in the near future, and notifications will be made when scheduled.⁷
