Hello!

We are Doral Academy's Model United Nations Team! We not only host weekly practices to improve our public speaking skills, but attend immersive competitions throughout the school year. Students come together to problem solve real global issues and learn the importance of compromise, collaboration, and diplomacy in a simulation of the UN. Over the years, our team has trained and gained experience through after-school practices, local competitions, and lessons from alumni; Now we are ready to tackle national competitions! While awards do not represent the entirety of our teams hard work, we are proud to be apart of one the top MUN teams in Florida and the United States. During the past school year, Doral MUN ranked as a top school twice and a majority of our competing delegates received awards (20 throughout the season). Any support would greatly help us reach our dreams of competing in some of the toughest and largest MUN competitions including YaleMUN (hosted by Yale University) and NAIMUN (hosted by Georgetown University). Your donation would go towards our teams airfare, travel expenses, hotel accommodations, and competition fees to give our students the best learning experience possible.
