Hello!
My name is Dora, I'm 15, and I am thrilled to announce that I have been cast in the National Youth Music Theatre's production of Everyday.
NYMT is an amazing organisation that helps young people pursue careers and opportunities in musical theatre.
Being on stage is where I am most happy. This opportunity to be part of a professional level production and the training it provides will help me grow my skills as a performer, contributing massively to my future in theatre.
Over 1300 people auditioned for NYMT with only 170 places being offered across the four shows they are putting on this year. I was lucky enough to be selected for a cast of just 36 performers and I am so completely thrilled and excited to be a part of it.
This year I will be performing in their brand new musical called Everyday by Nick Barstow and Martha Geelan in association with DEM productions. The show is based on the novel by David Levithan and is for an ensemble cast, centred around a young person trying to find their way in life and dealing with the challenges they face.
To take part in the production I need to raise £2,150 which will cover three weeks of residential rehearsal and training, including accommodation and travel, as the show is at the Birmingham Hippodrome - a long way from Cornwall!!

I am currently working hard to raise the funds for the 3 weeks of residential rehearsals and the show itself. I have already got myself two part time jobs (at the local St Moritz hotel and a local street food restaurant and am planning more school fundraising events after a successful Easter Egg tombola! however any extra help would be greatly appreciated!
