Dear Friends and Family,

We are organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my uncle, Genesis—a 31-year-old man who has always put the needs of others before his own. Whether it’s working long hours or quietly sacrificing his comfort, he consistently puts others first.

Recently, he began experiencing severe headaches and discomfort. After undergoing an MRI, doctors discovered a brain aneurysm that requires urgent medical attention. Due to the severity, the third optic nerve has been compressed, leading to eye misalignment and has tremendously impaired his vision. The recommended treatment, Endovascular Flow Diversion, is a procedure that prevents the aneurysm from rupturing. Without it, he faces a high risk of stroke, permanent brain damage, or even death.

With insurance, the cost of this life-saving procedure is ₱1,500,000 (approximately $30,000), which does not include medication and hospital expenses. Unfortunately, this amount is beyond what our family can afford.

In the Philippines, where this procedure will take place, we need the full amount before the procedure can be done. The sooner we raise the funds, the sooner the procedure can be done.

Our family has already faced more than our share of loss. We lost my grandmother at 50 and my aunt at just 43 from cancer. These experiences left deep wounds—ones we’ve learned to carry, but never truly healed from.

We don’t want my 4-year-old cousin, Exodus, to carry those same wounds. He deserves the chance to grow up with his father by his side, building the memories every child should have.
