I was laid off from my job and went through a divorce last year, dealt with anxiety and depression issues and have had difficulty finding a new job.

I fell behind in my rent and am now being threatened with eviction, which would be a catastrophe for me and my 4-year old son, who I am very close to and who needs me very much, because I have nowhere else to go, no other options and could face homelessness. I may have just gotten a new job and if I can just make it through this serious crisis I think I will be able to get back on my feet again.

I'm very embarrassed to be asking for aid, but for the sake of my wonderful little

boy I am taking this desperate step.

My rent is $1,315/mo., I need $3,700 for nearly 3 months' rent. My landlord has been very patient but was expecting at least partial payment as promised last week, and will give 3-day notice to pay or quit any day now.
