Donta Wilson, a 42 year old father of four. In 2018, just before his daughters 2nd birthday he was diagnosed with Renal failure caused by complications from high blood pressure. For seven years Donta has endured the physical and emotional strain of dialysis. In fall 2024 the toll on his body resulted in a quadruple bypass surgery. With God's help Donta fought through the difficult recovery. During this time, the doctors made it clear a kidney transplant was urgently needed. That's when his mother Ms. Chick (Loretta), as she is affectionately known, stepped forward. Determined to help her only son, she began the process. After months of evaluation and consultations Ms Chick was officially approved as a compatible donor. The financial burden, particularly for a single parent is overwhelming. This is why we are reaching out to family, friends and our community - to rally together and help ease these challenges so Donta and his Mother can focus on healing.
