Don’t Wait till it’s too Pharr

My name is Jonathan Pharr and I’m raising money to help pay for a memorial for one of my close friends who recently passed away. To those of you who didn’t know Austin, he was one of my best friends growing up in Jacksonville, Florida. I would like to raise money to create a keepsake of sorts to honor the life of my friend and to honor my other dear friend Austen Jenney, who also recently passed away. Whatever extra money is raised I would like to donate to a nonprofit mental health awareness organization. In my opinion, we are facing a mental health crisis that no one in the media seems to care about. I’ve been to too many funerals for my own friends and family for kids all under the age of 25. It’s taken me a long time to speak up but something has to be done. Any donation no matter the size will help and if you are unable to donate then please just help by speaking up about these issues. I don’t have a solution to solve the mental health problems facing our society but it’s time we come together and try and make a difference. Don’t be afraid to admit you are not doing well and it’s important we hold each other accountable and help those around us. I hope to one day make something more out of this but as of now I’m just fumbling to stay sane.
