DOn't quIT - DO IT for the Williams!

Our beloved Jemel was a man of many talents. He was smart, athletic, funny, helpful, genuine, and a natural-born leader. What you saw was what you got! For those who truly had the pleasure of knowing Jemel, it was undeniably hard not to love him.

The most important roles for Jemel were being a husband and a very proud father to our 3-year-old, Jaylen, and our infant, Jordan. He took pride in being the leader of our family. He was always focused on ensuring that we had the best, was ready for anything, and never wanted for nothing. We had many plans and dreams for our family that we often spoke about and were aggressively working towards to achieve. One of Jemel's main mantras that he lived by was, "DON'T QUIT."

At the time of his very unexpected passing, he was the sole provider for our family. Unfortunately, in January 2024, while on maternity leave, I was laid off from my job of 13 years as a Vice President at a non-profit child welfare agency. Even when that happened, Jemel, without hesitation, immediately reassured me not to worry because we were going to be okay.

With that said, this year has been one of many difficult and unimaginable changes. Since his passing and without a new job on the horizon, life has been a great adjustment.

This page has been created for those who have asked numerous times how they could help. Life is moving on, but expenses such as medical bills, child-related costs, and other daily living expenses continue.
