Don't Lie (film): Supernatural Romance Thriller (PLS SHARE)!

Hey my name is Dré Strong. I’m a filmmaker raising funds for a film called "Don’t Lie". It’s a supernatural romance thriller about what can happen when we ignore red flags in our relationships... and how dangerous dishonesty can really be.

This story as well as the art of filmmaking are deeply personal to me and though I have an amazing cast and crew behind me, we still need your support to bring this bold, haunting vision to life with the cinematic quality it demands.

I've called in all my favors and cut the film budget nearly in half just to make this possible. Please help me push the car over the finish line and get this film in the can!

Film summary:

Stylish, surreal, and emotionally charged, “Don’t Lie" is a film that peels back the surface of modern love to ask: if your partner saw you at your worse… unfiltered, unforgiven… would they still say “yes”?

In a boutique storefront tucked in a bustling city, an engaged couple agrees to a mysterious psychic reading led by the renowned Mother Magic. Through a mirror that unveils the unseen, they are forced to confront buried secrets, painful memories, and the illusions they’ve built around love. The visions strip away the curated version of their relationship, plunging them into the raw, core emotions they've buried. Rage, guilt, temptation, and shame; each playing out in vivid, terrifying ways. As visions bleed into reality, the question isn’t just “are we meant to be?”—it’s “can we survive who we really are?”
