Don't Let Geoff's Cancer Break The Bank!

My name is Gretchen Waller. On behalf of my good friend's son, I am asking for your help. Geoff Bell is fighting for his life. He is 28 years old and has neurofibromatosis which has caused Malignant Peripheral Nerve sheath tumors. Geoff and his parents spend a lot of time at UVA Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. He has already had separate surgeries in both legs to remove these tumors. He began radiation treatment after these surgeries. In June he had brain surgery to remove a tumor that grew on his skull. He began chemo treatment this past Fall, immediately after the doctors found it had spread to his lungs and possibly ribs. Although it is a very difficult cancer to treat, and does not always respond well to chemo, the hope is chemo will kill the cancer and stop any further growth to prolong his life.
