Hi, I’m Shadeika & I’m raising funds to help the residents of Mocho, St. James who were affected by Hurricane Melissa.

A small, rural farming community where homes are predominantly built from wood & zinc. A lot of these homes were either damaged or destroyed from Hurricane Melissa’s destructive winds. The people here rely on rain and river water (there’s no NWC here) and some tanks which store their drinking water were also destroyed. This being a farming community, some farms were also impacted.

The money raised will be used to purchase building materials, food & personal care items, farming supplies and school items.
