Hey, I’m Lou the owner of ATB and founder of Don’t forget me Santa.

I started Don’t forget me Santa, after returning from Dubai to the UK and seeing the massive impact of the cost of living on struggling family’s. The point that nappies and formula now need tags is so sad, to me just let them steal it if they need it that bad, truly heartbreaking. Upon this I reached out to local food banks and found one that is referral only. This means teacher, doctors or social workers have referred these families to food banks for support aka families in need (200-250 referrals a month) The amazing guy at this particular food bank agreed to work with me and allow me to use my platform and contacts to help these children not go without presents this Christmas.

If parents are struggling to afford food and their bills, then there is no money for presents. Breaks my heart of knowing a kid going without, especially on such a magical day.

how it works:

-The food bank has posters up and put a flyer in each families bag.

-They email me, with child’s age, name, address and Santa’s little list.

-We share the list with our gifters (as seen on our insta highlights @dontforgetmesanta)

-Gifters can either donate a gift or money to purchase the gifts.

-We help Santa wrap his gifts.

-And delivery the presents week of Christmas so they can have their surprise from Santa.

Our insta highlights we update with the kids wish list (we use numbers for child’s privacy) and I also post the items each kids have, once they arrived to me: important some may still be in transit or not ordered yet.)

we can’t wait to make all these kids smiles this Christmas and help make their parents Christmas too. They say it takes a village to raise kids, we need our village support to make these kids Christmas.

Thank you so much to everyone who has already donated gifts and to those helping us achieve such an amazing goal and cause. We already have some of the mums, thanking us as they didn’t know how they was going to manage Xmas this year without heartbreaking the kids.

Pleaee note that after Christmas, we will be in touch with the schools to help us find the children in need that parents, can’t afford new shoes, underwear, hair cuts etc. I remember when I was at school this one kid, who got hair cut once a year for his birthday, jack ups, shoes was battered etc. I want to help make sure that no child is like this and they aren’t an easy target for bullying, as being a kids is already hard enough as it is in this day and age.
