Donovan's Fund for Hurricane Harvey
Donation protected
Section D -
The purpose of this "go fund me" campaign is to raise money to help Donovan Campbell and his family in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.
Thankfully, Donovan and his family are safe; however, they lost their house and everything in it due to the flooding. His faith is strong and he's optimistic that everything will be okay, but I can't imagine the difficult circumstances they are facing -- both now and lasting throughout a very long rebuilding and recovery process.
If you'd like to contribute financially to help Donovan and his family as they start to rebuild and recover, you can select the "Donate Now" button in the upper right corner of this page.
Donovan doesn't know about this fundraising campaign, so I think it would be really cool if we surprised him with our total contribution. I'll keep the campaign open until Friday, October 13 and reach out to Donovan, on behalf of Section D, on Saturday, October 14.
Thanks for your consideration and I hope all of you are well.
Best regards,
Brent Rockwood
Note: Donations made to GoFundMe campaigns are usually considered to be "personal gifts" and, for the most part, would not be considered as income for Donovan. However, our contributions are not tax-deductible, since we are donating to an individual instead of a 501 (c)(3).
