Donovan recently experienced a workplace injury leaving him with a broken femur and in need of major hip surgery. He is a self employed carpenter without the finiancial safety net of WCB. His leg will not be able to bear weight for three months and he will be unable to work for a couple months beyond that while he rehabilitates.
