gofundme told me to contact donors directly BUT THEN A WARNING APPEARED on THE FUND PAGE WARNING donors not to give out personal details or get involved with refunds outside of gofundme. What am I to do! I nearly crying!

It has proved impossible to contact young bob. Real name Thomas. I tried to join his web page cross and corner. You cannot attempt to speak to Bob if you don’t pay £9.99. I tried to join but the page won’t let you join it. Then I got an email telling me that I had signed up to pay £9.99 a month to cross and corner. I did not get asked if I wanted to have recurring payments which go on indefinitely until I cancel! I don’t usually check my emails so it was by god that I noticed the email telling me what had happened. Also once I paid £9.99 and then press join it took me back to the payment page … I got confused and ended up paying twice to a website that will not let me join and therefore can’t speak to young Bob directly as the web page promises.

i am suspicious of the website because of the payment issues and because I saw simple spelling mistakes like young bob spelt yun bob & other mistakes making it seem that English may not be the writers first language.

I have written what happened to me twice 10 days ago and twice 5 days ago and once today and no one has answered me.

im thinking cross and corner is an Ai simulation and I’ve been scammed by it twice. They haven’t bothered to remove my comments outlining my problems with website. They must be taking in money. Shame on them.

I’m sorry i tried a few different ways to contact Bob.

I typed into YouTube: young bob homeless and a video comes up explaining why he is homeless and there is a PayPal but I felt I needed to speak to him before I sent money to it. Especially as you need to be 18 to have a PayPal and I saw someone hating on him in the comments saying they have reported the PayPal! I didn’t want to risk loosing donation money In a PayPal that may or may not belong to dear young Bob.

Even the video of him explaining his situation could be fake. I feel like an idiot. I went with my heart and didn’t think any of it through.

I HAVE NEVER GOT AS FAR AS GETTING ACTUAL DONATIONS ON A GOFUNDME. I did not know gofundme would not refund automatically once I hit a problem.

*I also had no idea how strong some of bobs opinions are and I don’t agree with him on a few things. It’s up to you once you receive a refund if you want to trust the video and PayPal on YouTube. At this point I’m not trusting anything. The more I’m learning about Ai the more scared I am. I’m 50 plus years and I’m realising how out of touch I am and how dumb I’ve been by setting up a gofundme for a stranger that I now can’t find!

I sincerely apologise for all the inconvenience caused. Like me, you wanted to help. God bless each and everyone of you especially in this time of austerity when most people haven’t got a lot of monies.

I myself have a go fund me that hasn’t raised anything but that’s ok. I’m still trying to raise funds. I have got a spine injury and I have had atleast 8 floods from the people upstairs since 2018 which destroyed everything I own. Now the leaks from various pipes has been solved I am still left In a bad way. Thankfully I’ve had mold treatments and I’m happy i have found a flat exchange but scared because I’m facing hellish conditions in the new flat with bare uneven concrete floors that has broken tiles… the whole of the new flat needs gutting. I have to take the flat because it’s all on one level. I will get there in the end. I just pray my 3 dogs and I don’t get hurt as I sort things out.

I have too much on my plate and foolishly added more.

As for Bob i will continue to pray for him. We have done our best. Now the situation is stressful & it’s making me ill.

i have fibromyalgia and stress is making every part of my body light up in pain.
