Hi friends -
As you all know, Donnie Wolfe was a big-hearted, generous, thoughtful, kind man and a selfless beacon of service.
He was, also, nothing short of an odds-defying miracle. First, because the man I just described wasn't always that way - he got sober and fully embraced a program of recovery & action and, as a result, transformed into this beautiful human being. But, second, because Donnie had been battling cancer for years and, every time it looked as though the end was near, he rebounded and stayed with us and kept delivering his big smiles and loving words, despite the constant suffering and pain he was enduring. But, on December 11th, he mercifully, took his last breath and is now resting comfortably for eternity.
Unfortunately, though, there are expenses related to his final arrangements that we, as a community he so passionately loved and supported, need to rally and cover - primary among those are the costs of cremation and travel expenses for his sister, who came from Kentucky and spent the last month of Donnie's life by his side.
