Donnie's Memorial Fund

Donnie and his sweet wife, Elda, contracted Covid some time in early November and went to the hospital together on November 13 in Quincy, WA where they live when he's not back in WV. Donnie's Oxygen was low, so they admitted him. His condition continued to deteriorate, so he was moved to a larger facility in Wenatchee. He was placed on a vent November 21 and remains in Critical Condition.

As Donnie is in a medically-induced coma, obviously he is not working. Our dear parents are trying to keep up with the bills that continue to come in as it was their arrangement for my dad to pay those that come to the WV mailbox and then be reimbursed by Donnie. Elda may also have financial needs as I believe she has not yet been able to return to work though she continues to recover.

Additionally, there will be a time in the future when the hospital will allow family (in addition to just Elda) to visit him. The airfare is quite high, so this will be a real challenge.

Upon request of two of Donnie's coworkers, I agreed to put together this page so those who were interested in assisting with these needs could do so.

We so appreciate your prayers for Donnie, for Elda, for our parents, Donald & Alice Dick, and for me. This has been a very difficult time with the distance being so great and the feeling of helplessness to change any of the circumstances. Our God is good, and we know that He will take care of every need. Thank you for loving us and for continuing to lift Donnie in your prayers!
