As some of you may know our pops has been dealing with cancer for a good chunk of this year. We've been blessed to have found out about it early enough so we could operate but of course not without any risks and scares. Things get put into perspective real fast when things like this come out of nowhere. We're dealing with it though!
Me and my siblings have been pulling together and been trying to be as close to each other in keeping our pops positive and happy while we're going through chemotherapy. Thus the wanting to 'LIVE GOOD'. This benefit show is to help with my dad's treatments since it's no joke how these things are so expensive and dads being dads, mine doesn't wanna say that he's having a hard time with all the expenses. So if u have time, and a lil bit to spend, please come by!
The generous guys from 123 Block gave us a venue to stage a show, while my friends from She's Only Sixteen, Lions and Acrobats, Rusty Machines and <S>andwich are lending their talents for you guys to enjoy a night that's meant to be a celebration of life and trying to live good despite everything the world throws at us. Also having my artist friends Renzo Navarro, Pusangkalat, Elloissa Mata, and Jam Pascual, do their thing (sell prints, take photos, sell zines and do live art) to pitch in their talents as well to help us pool more funds.
If you can't make it to the event, we've set up this link for anyone who just wants to help out and send love to my dad.
