Please Help Donnie Fight Against Cancer

On December 15, 2022, Donnie Castricone (Kali and Tyler’s Dad) received the unfortunate news that a biopsy that he had to have done a few weeks prior came back positive for prostate cancer. We are very fortunate that it has been caught early enough that his doctors feel positive he can beat it, but not without a great deal of medical attention. On January 2nd, Donnie began his first day of radiation treatment, where he will have to go every day, Monday-Friday, for 8 1/2 weeks. Not only will he have to pay a daily co-pay for this treatment, but co-pays to multiple weekly doctor visits, plus the cost of all the radiation and treatments that Medicare does not cover.

Donnie had to leave his career in 2009 to go on disability after years of multiple back and neck surgeries. These surgeries resulted in his lumbar being made up of nothing but 4 rods and screws and his neck having a plate and screws due to having 2 ruptured discs at different times. He has been able to live on this fixed income, but all of these unexpected medical expenses are going to pile up quickly and cause a lot of stress and financial hardship. We are asking for donations to go towards paying for his treatment and the medical bills that he is going to receive throughout. It has been a rough couple of years for our family and we have been so blessed with amazing friends and family who we could never get by without!
