Hi, my name is Jeff Michaels. I am a long time friend of Donnie and Nancy Davis.

On Tuesday January 9th Donnie and Nancy experienced a house fire at their home in Brandon Florida.

They both escaped unhurt as did their two cats.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

They are now homeless for at least 6 months. Currently they are staying at a local hotel but are looking for a short stay apartment for the balance of the rebuild of their home.

Needless to say most of their personal items are either soaked or have smoke damage.

Donnie and Nancy are well known in their community. They are active church volunteers at Bay Life church in Brandon FL.

Donnie is a retired Onan/Cummins 50 year employee.

He has also been very active in the Florida RV Trade Association (FRVTA).

Donnie served his community as part of the Hillsborough County Sheriffs Department and has served in the US Army.

We are looking for some financial help to ease their stress level during this most difficult time. Insurance doesn’t pay for everything.
