Help Donna Get Life-Changing Treatment
If you know Tony and Donna, you already know:
They’re the kind of people who show up for others — as nurses, parents, grandparents, and helpers. Now, they need someone to show up for them.
Donna Barrentine was diagnosed with Parkinson’s after years of hard work in tobacco and blueberry fields, where she was exposed to Paraquat — a dangerous chemical linked to the disease. A lifelong pediatric nurse, Donna had to stop working due to the toll Parkinson’s took. Her balance is fading. Her hands tremble. And each day, she grows weaker.
Her husband, Tony Latorre — a veteran Medic Army soldier and RN, BSN nurse — is doing everything he can. He’s been working nonstop and spending their savings to get her stem cell treatment in Mexico — treatment that’s helped, but isn’t available here in the U.S.
They've each lost both parents. They've helped raise 9 kids and 11 grandchildren (plus a few they adopted along the way).
They’ve been together over 15 years — a true “love at first sight” story.
❤️ Now, Tony is watching the love of his life suffer, and it’s breaking him.
We’re raising $8,000 to help cover Donna’s next round of urgent treatment in Mexico. Every single dollar helps. Whether it’s $10, $25, or $50 — it all goes directly toward giving Donna a fighting chance at a better quality of life.
If you've ever been helped by Tony or Donna, this is your chance to return the love.
If you know them, you know this: they’d never ask unless it mattered.
