I like to do things in the dark - my radio program starts in the middle of the night!  It is a labor of love.  Computers and audio equipment in the studio are best managed in low light. Work like this requires good eyesight. 

Volunteering to provide soothing, inspired music and a real-time shared experience, entertaining friends like you, on The Morning Breeze, has filled my weekend mornings from 5-9 am, for two decades.  Waking often before the alarm, I arrive to be live at 5.  This has me driving 29 miles in the pre-dawn,  down the freeways of Southern California, and now the lights from the cars, astound my eyes and confuse my senses.

My doctor has informed me that when one reaches a certain age, cataracts are a reality and corrective surgery is required.  I have arrived at that place in life and my doctor has recommended surgical removal of cataracts on both eyes within the next 60 days.

Cataract surgery is done one eye at a time - a week apart. The cost, above what my insurance will pay,  for each eye using laser surgery, including the "Safety Lens" implant,  will be $3,950  ea. , $7,900 cash.
If I have to finance any part, it becomes $8,500.
