Meet my beautiful sister-in-law Donna.
Donna has always been an extremely healthy & strong woman maintaining herself with diet & exercise.
Very suddenly, on Jan 27, 2017, Donna had a ringing in her ear that caused her to go to the hospital ER on the advice of a nurse friend.Three days later she was having surgery for a cancerous brain tumor. Donna was diagnosed with stage 4 Glioblastoma, and so the battle begins.
The tumor quickly reoccured about a month and a half later and Donna had her 2nd surgery. After the 2nd surgery she had extreme pain in her head and the Dr had to operate for a third time just 12 days later in the same spot to clear an infection.
The road has been extremely difficult for Donna, her husband Greg (my brother), their 3 children and the entire family. Donna has been through many procedures including radiation, chemo, hospital stays & much medication.
Greg has been caring for Donna using up all his vacation time as well as taking two 3 month leaves of absence from his job. Not only has this been traumatic physically & emotionally but as you can imagine financially as well. The medical bills are piling up (many of which are out of pocket) as well as household bills and now Donna is in need of a stair lift.
I'm reaching out to all of you to ask for your financial support to help meet these urgent needs. If you feel it in your heart to give, please do so, every little bit helps and is much appreciated. We are grateful for all your love, prayers and support.
